Got a couple of calls from this number in less than an hour. Let my answerphone pick up both times and no messages were left. Feels like a scam to me. So, I’ve blocked it now.

They keep calling me, asking for my husband who had a stroke and can’t really talk. I told them he’s not interested in any funeral plans, but they still ring at least twice a day. I’ve had to tell them three separate times to stop calling this number. It’s getting really annoying.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the housing dept about mould problems. Our place is owned by us and was built by a pretty reputable company, so no way the housing department would be involved. Told the bloke he was talking nonsense and hung up straightaway. Honestly, I’m really annoyed by all these scam calls all the time.

Got a call from someone with a really English name, but they spoke in a thick Asian or Indian accent. Turned out to be one of those dodgy housing repair scams. Definitely not buying it!
