4 monthsI didn’t pick up when the number rang a couple of times, but got curious and decided to check it out. Turns out, the number is linked to a company named “Lumon” who deal with forex trading, and they're listed on the FCA register. They’re also registered with HMRC, but the FCA site mentions there might be a fake version of this company using the same info. Feels like it could be one of those clone scams to me.LumonFCAHMRC7 yearsGot a call earlier from a guy who said he'd been in touch with some bloke named David about foreign exchange trading - there's no David here at all. I told him we don't require that service and he kept insisting he'd checked and that I'd misunderstood, which was a bit cheeky really. I stood my ground and explained again that we have no interest and get loads of these calls, so asked him to take us off their list. He then started having a go at me for assuming things about him, so I just said I'd made my point clear and ended the call. Honestly, they came across as quite pushy and rude.David7 yearsSomebody called saying they’d already spoken on the phone to one of our team using our number. The thing is, that team member works in Europe and doesn’t have a UK phone at all. Honestly, if you’re gonna fib to promote your business, maybe come up with a more believable excuse next time!EuropeUK7 yearsHad a chat with Andrew, and honestly, he was quite rude. I told him to take us off his call list, and barely 2 seconds later, he rang me back! If you want, you can find the CEO’s contact details online - he’s got like 10 different email addresses and a couple of mobile numbers. Makes you wonder if he wouldn’t mind getting harassed a bit himself!Andrew7 yearsGot a call from this place called 'Infinity' - total rubbish, don't waste your time!Infinity8 yearsThis number keeps ringing me up, trying to get me to switch over to their currency service. They left a message on my phone that said something like ‘I love minge... f##k off’. I rang the business straight away and told them to remove our number from their records, warning them I’d call the police if they tried ringing again.8 yearsThis company keeps bothering me nonstop.8 yearsHere we go again with some idiot prattling on about foreign money!8 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be a currency broker. They said they needed to speak to the Finance Director or Manager and kept insisting that the person was waiting for their call. They said something like, "He’s been expecting me" and mentioned it was about a finance matter they had to go over. Then they tried to say they’d drop an email but didn’t stop ringing back later. A right nuisance!8 yearsThey ring me and then just drop the call. He claimed we’d talked before and that we used to do most of our business in Euros and Dollars. I told him that’s not true at all. He asked me to say it again, not once but twice, which was a bit strange. When I told him we weren't interested in their services, he just fell silent. I ended the call.
