I've had multiple calls today from this number. A rather curt woman on the line announced that the conversation was being recorded and insisted I answer some rather invasive security questions. I chimed in, saying it was excellent news that my side was recording as well. I informed her that she had actually reached an emergency service office, and that her call was being recorded too, so she ought to have a real basis for her inquiry. She promptly hung up! It turns out, the call did indeed connect to our office, and yes, it was on record. It seems they can sense when their ruse isn't going to fly. Absolutely dreadful individuals!

If your debt is beyond six years old, however, it falls under Statute Barred provisions, and you should promptly draft a letter to notify them of this. I keep getting calls from this number multiple times a day-like three or four! They keep insisting on asking me security questions but won’t reveal why they're calling. When I press for details, they just say it’s a private issue. I refuse to share any info with someone who just rings me out of the blue! Each time I decline, they simply hang up. Eventually, after my persistent refusal, the caller said, “Alright, thank you, goodbye,” and hung up.
