I just kept them hanging on the phone by going on about needing to let the dog out - which I don't even have lol. You can swear all you want at these scammers, and there’s nothing they can do since they’re the ones calling out of the blue. Had a good laugh for like twenty minutes before finally asking them why they target elderly folks for their scams.

I got a call saying I’d won the lottery and they needed me to talk to my bank. Obviously it was a total scam, don’t trust it at all.

They keep ringing me up, like 10 times or more, and I asked them to take my number off their list, referencing the Data Protection Act. Each time, they hang up before I can finish what I’m saying. Next time, I’m just gonna yap to them forever, making ’em waste their time and cash. But seriously, is there a way to completely stop these calls?

There was this bloke calling who claimed to be from Alpha Finance, but he was really rude the whole time. I could hear a TV on in the background. Watch out, he sounded like he had an Indian accent.
