Got a call from some automated bloke claiming to be HMRC, saying I owed money and needed to press 1 to sort it straight away. They said if I didn’t, I’d be arrested with a warrant. Since I don’t even earn enough to pay tax, I knew it was a scam right away.

Got a call from someone saying they were from T-Mobile, trying to push phone and sim deals. Seemed a bit fishy to me, so I just blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were with 02 trying to sell me a deal, instantly sent ’em to my blocked numbers list haha.

Got a call from a guy who said he was with O2, trying to push me some offers. He wanted to know if my phone was pay as you go or contract. I told him I’m not even with O2 and asked him not to ring me again. I noticed a few reviews mention HMRC - sounds like they just say whatever to get you talking. Definitely adding this number to my block list.

I got a call from some dodgy number on my mobile, had to block it straight away because it was obviously a scam.

Got a call from Simply Committed the other day. Told them right away I wasn’t interested, and when they asked why, I just said I don’t do cold calls and asked to be taken off their list. Pretty typical sales pitch, they keep you hanging on hoping you’ll buy something instead of letting you hang up.

Got a ring from this number about an hour ago. At first, when I answered, there was nothing but silence. Then out of nowhere, a woman started giggling and it quickly changed into full on laughter. I hung up straight away and I’m not gonna pick up if they call again.
