Didn’t even look at the number before picking up - dumb move! Some young bloke rang, saying it was about my energy supply. I got that scammy vibe straight away and told him where to stick it.

A unknown number rang my home phone earlier, but I had no clue who it was so I just let it go to my voicemail. Nothing was recorded though, so I’m not sure what they wanted.

I got a call from this number but as soon as my voicemail started, the call just dropped and there was no message left behind.

Today at about 5pm I got a call from 02033369099 with someone saying they were Chris, my neighbourhood energy advisor. Earlier on, around 2:10 pm, the same bloke called from 02033369101 but said his name was Simon and he was the local energy advisor. A couple days back Simon called me too from 01204894286 saying he was from CG Limited. Honestly, this feels like it's starting to be a bit of harassment now!

Someone called me claiming to be "Alex" from possibly "The Estate Protection Service," ringing every homeowner about wills. Problem is, I don’t own a home. Plus, my number’s on the Telephone Preference Service list. When I mentioned that, he said he knew about it. I told him he clearly didn't, since it means no cold calls like his. There was a long pause, then I hung up just as he started to argue, so I didn’t catch the rest. I've flagged the call as harassing because he didn’t get the chance to try and scam me.

I always let unknown calls go to my answerphone so I can see who’s really calling. Legit companies usually leave a message but the dodgy ones just cut off as soon as it rings. Even though I’m on the telephone preference service, I still get heaps of calls weekly from different numbers that hang up as soon as it gets to answerphone. These creepy callers should be tracked down, fined, and stopped for good.

It’s really risky when I get calls with no voicemail and have no clue who might be phoning me.

I've been inundated with calls from this number lately. The moment my voicemail picks up, they hang up. Seems like it's either a dodgy scam or some cold caller who’s completely disregarding the Telephone Preference Scheme. In any case, best to steer clear of them!

Didn’t get any voicemail or anything, so figured it’s probably another dodgy call from India or Pakistan trying to scam me.

I've had loads of calls today from numbers that look alike, all about driveways and loft insulation - the same old rubbish. Even though I’m on the TPS, they still manage to get through :-(

Whenever these #### ring us, our phone just shuts them out and even tells us the call looks dodgy. You’d think they’d feel guilty, but nah, they just carry on like it's nothing.

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, but I didn’t pick up and they never left a message. This is the second time I’ve been called by this same number, so I’m guessing it’s probably some kind of scam. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now.

They kept phoning me on weekdays in the early evening, like from 5 to 8pm, and then once on a Saturday morning about 10am. Since I didn’t recognise the number, I just ignored it and let it go to voicemail. But they never bothered to leave a message. From what I’ve read in other reviews, it seems like one of those annoying cold-call scams!

This number keeps ringing me non stop. The moment my answerphone picks up, they hang up right away. Could be a dodgy scammer or just some telemarketer ignoring the opt-out list. Whatever it is, best not to bother with this one.

Got a call from a guy called Chris, said he was some sort of energy advisor in my local area. He started telling me that the insulation in my attic was really old and made from that fluffy kind, which apparently isn't good anymore. I just told him I wasn't bothered and ended the call straight away.

Loads of calls from numbers that look quite alike keep coming through to me every day. I usually don’t answer; instead, I just let them ring till they go to voicemail. So far, no one's left a message, which is quite odd.

Blimey, this lot swap their phone digits more than my mate swaps trainers! Today it's 02033369099 but no matter if it's Adam, Chris or even some dodgy Bob on the line, all they get is a right earful from BT's call block. Total timewaste that.

I received a call regarding driveways, and then they rang me again later. When I pointed out that they’d got the wrong number, it didn't seem to faze them at all. The chap claimed his name was John.

Got a call at 5:15 PM on the 3rd of February 2022. Clearly a robotic caller, as I didn’t utter a single word, and it just hung up after about ten seconds. I’m thoroughly fed up with these soulless individuals (that’s how they're classified under UK law...abusers of the National Telephone Network system, if you will!) attempting to swindle folks like us.

Received a call from someone claiming to be 'Simon, your local energy consultant.' There was a noticeable pause before he responded when I picked up - seemed a bit dodgy, like a robocall, if you ask me. The moment I inquired whether he knew about the Telephone Preference Service, he abruptly ended the call. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

I received a call from someone claiming there’s £100 available to support health needs. They asked me to press 1 if I suffer from arthritis, or 2 if I’m in good health. I don’t have either issue, so I just hung up instead.

I’ve just been informed that my loft insulation is past its sell-by date and it’s crucial to sort it out right away. Apparently, it should be changed every few years, as it poses serious health risks. Honestly, I wonder what other surprises are lurking around the corner!

Seems like the so-called local energy consultant could be a bit dodgy. I didn’t even entertain the conversation-just cut it short and ended the call.

I was informed that my loft insulation, which consists of materials like fibreglass or rock wool, has exceeded its effective lifespan and could potentially lead to damp issues. They've now recognised that this type of insulation can indeed contribute to damp conditions and propose sending a surveyor to assess the situation. Furthermore, they suggested that it would be wiser to replace this outdated insulation with a more modern option that sits atop the roof instead of just between the loft joists. When I inquired about the specific authority behind these recommendations and questioned why the foam insulation was superior, the person abruptly terminated the call.

I received a call from someone claiming to be my local energy consultant, who mentioned that, based on EMG's information, my loft insulation wasn't quite right. I didn’t stick around for the rest and ended the conversation.
