I was attempting to market loft insulation when my wife, quite courteously, mentioned she was awaiting a critical call from the hospital (which is genuinely the case). However, the person on the other end disregarded her comment and continued to push their sales pitch until she had to be more assertive. Such a nuisance!

I tried calling back, but no one picked up.

I got a dodgy call about insulation and kept quiet, just hung up straight away. Not long after, I got an email claiming I had a voicemail from a number that looked almost the same. The message had a sketchy link, so I just deleted it without clicking on anything.

I just didn't pick up.

The caller gave his name as Chris but didn’t even check who he was actually speaking to. He just rushed into saying something about the energy supply, then asked if I was the homeowner, as if he knew me. I just ended the call straight away and they never tried ringing again.

Got a call a moment ago on my landline but it just went straight to voicemail. The person didn't bother leaving a message and just ended the call. I barely give my number out, so I reckon it’s just scammers ringing. Might as well unplug the phone at this rate since I only use the line for broadband anyway. Thought being ex-directory and on the TPS would stop this nonsense, but nope, these annoying calls still come through. They’re such a pain, but luckily more folks are catching on now.

Got a call from 02033369097, some bloke calling himself Chris. He claimed he was an energy advisor but never mentioned any firm. He asked if he could send someone to check my loft insulation and wanted to know my age category, saying there was a discount for older people. It felt dodgy right away, and after a quick search, I saw loads of others had the same uneasy feeling!

Now I just ignore calls from numbers I don’t know, proper callers usually drop a voicemail anyway. Even with all the number blocking and TPS stuff I’ve set up, some still manage to ring me.

I received a rather unexpected phone call from a chap named Simon, who posed as an energy consultant. He was keen to chat about the state of our loft insulation at home. Quite the surprise!

Simon, who says he’s an energy advisor, won’t stop ringing. We’ve told him over and over we’re not interested, but he keeps coming back. Every time we block one of his numbers, he just phones from another. Honestly, it’s so annoying!

Got a couple of calls from 02033369097 within 30 mins or so. Didn’t pick up since I have no mates in London and figured it was probably a scam.

Beware of people claiming to offer loft insulation services - it's a total scam.

Possible scammer, could be dodgy. Got a BT Call Blocker phone and it did a great job on this number, which was very similar to one I got earlier today (ends in 092). Despite being on the TPS and having my number ex-directory, I was still getting annoying calls non-stop. So, I gave the BT Call Blocker a go and it's fantastic: it makes unknown callers say who they are before it connects. Obviously, they never bother to speak up! Now I’m not stressed about picking up the phone anymore!

Somebody trying to scam me called, but my voicemail answered straight away and they hung up. I haven't picked up unknown numbers for like four years now. It’s all because of these scam calls really. It’s a shame but our world feels less safe every day and it’s only gonna get worse.

They claimed they were offering free loft insulation surveys. When I asked if there were any charges, they just wouldn't give me a straight answer. Felt like talking to a politician dodging a yes or no. I ended up hanging up because the whole thing gave me a bit of a dodgy vibe. Might be wrong though, and if I am, sorry about that.

So they called me about having outdated insulation, but this number is actually for my work, and I'm up in the attic! The moment I mentioned it's a business, they just ended the call.

Just got a call about loft insulation, sounded dodgy to me. It’s probably just them trying to make a quick quid off the energy price hikes that everyone's talking about right now.

Got a call from someone named Chris today saying our loft insulation needed updating. Told him straight away we don't have a loft since our place has a flat roof. Seems like these callers never check their facts first!

Got a call from someone named Simon saying our loft had this fluffy yellow stuff insulation, but we don't even have any up there. Feels like either a annoying telemarketer or maybe even a scammer trying their luck.

This number has called me loads today but I haven’t picked up. I’m pretty sure it’s been ringing at different times throughout the week as well. I did once answer to a call about insulation, told them I wasn’t interested and asked them to remove my number, but they’re still calling. I reckon I’ll just block it on my phone now.

In just 30 minutes, this number has rung me two times. We're listed ex-directory and signed up with the telephone preference service. Usually, only my doctor or my parents get in touch via this landline - everyone else uses mobiles. So, I just ignore these random calls, but honestly, it’s really irritating.

i got a call from a guy named simon, claiming he was from some energy help company and said he found my number on a govt list. i told him my number is ex-directory and registered on the do not call list, warned him i’d report the call if he didn’t stop.

I picked up the call, but the line dropped instantly. I believe it was yet another chaser about loft insulation. It’s now the fourth time they've tried to reach me in just three days, despite me repeatedly telling them I’m not interested in their offerings.

I received a call from a chap named Tom about my loft installation, which is apparently being subsidised by the government. I spotted the ad in the Daily Telegraph. They're planning to conduct a survey to determine my eligibility. Tom mentioned his supervisor would ring me back in about 15 minutes. By the by, I'm also on the ex-directory list.

Our local energy consultant, Simon, just won’t take the hint! Honestly, mate, how many times do we need to tell you we’re not interested? We’ve blocked his number repeatedly, yet he still finds a way to ring us from a different line. It's getting rather tiresome! 😒
