Got a call from someone who sounded like a clever robot using the name Alex, saying they were from my "local energy company" or something similar. It seemed like it could respond when I said yes or no, but it definitely wasn’t paying proper attention to what I said, so I reckon it was an automated bot rather than a real human. I ended up hanging up, and then the number rang me back later, but when it reached my answerphone it just hung up!
