Spoke with an Indian guy who could barely manage English, saying he was from Apple with some bargain on iPhones - definite scam. I’d just hang up or block the number if possible.

They took my info and contacted Vodafone pretending to be me, ordering the wrong phone on purpose. I got the phone next day and paid £29 upfront. I still think this was a trick by the providers (scammers). Once you get the phone, they'll ring to say sorry about the wrong phone, but actually it’s part of their plan so you can send it back (a trick). They’ll tell you to post it to some “replacement warehouse” address, but that’s the last you see of the phone. Then, after about a month, Vodafone will hit you up with a £57 monthly contract charge that you never agreed to.
