This number rang me just now but I never pick up unknown calls. Doing so just tells the caller this is a real number, and then they sell it to every annoying scammer going. Here’s what I do - I tell my mates to ring only for about 4 or 5 rings then hang up. After that, I press 1471 to find out who called and call back the people I actually know. If it’s some dodgy number ringing forever, I jot it down and Google it to check if it’s one of those useless timewasters trying to hassle me.
