I tried getting a loan via Money Advice ECT and this guy from Credit Perfect called me. Ended up losing loads of cash and they say I can't get any refund. Even after I told the police and my bank, nothing really happened despite having all the account info. It's a total mess, and honestly, the police and banks don't help at all.

Got a call earlier, they wanted my husband but he was out dropping the kids off at school. I told them that but they kept ringing back right after I hung up, asking the same questions. Hubby finally got back, it’s his only day off, and they just wouldn’t stop calling. When they rang again I handed him the phone and they just kept asking to speak to him over and over. In the end, he took the batteries out of the phone to make it stop. Proper annoying!

I was approached with a loan proposal where I was told to fork out £250 to secure a £5000 loan. Lo and behold, that £5000 hasn’t materialised in my bank account, and I highly doubt it ever will. What baffles me is that they still pick up the phone when I call! What options do I have here?

Recently, a rather alarming call came through to my father's residence in Bulgaria. An individual on the other end claimed that my brother had suffered a mishap involving a gas bottle and urgently required funds for medical treatment. They provided him with what I now know to be a fabricated number, 9180, supposedly to connect him with a government official. Naturally, this left my father quite anxious, prompting him to ring the number. After an extensive conversation, he eventually realised he was dealing with a scam artist. In an attempt to get some clarity on the phone charges, I reached out to the service provider, but they informed me that there was no record of any call from my father's line on that day, which struck me as odd. I truly hope the provider’s information is accurate, as I’d rather not be facing any hefty phone bills down the line stemming from this situation.
