I tried getting a loan via Money Advice ECT and this guy from Credit Perfect called me. Ended up losing loads of cash and they say I can't get any refund. Even after I told the police and my bank, nothing really happened despite having all the account info. It's a total mess, and honestly, the police and banks don't help at all.

Got a call earlier, they wanted my husband but he was out dropping the kids off at school. I told them that but they kept ringing back right after I hung up, asking the same questions. Hubby finally got back, it’s his only day off, and they just wouldn’t stop calling. When they rang again I handed him the phone and they just kept asking to speak to him over and over. In the end, he took the batteries out of the phone to make it stop. Proper annoying!

I was approached with a loan proposal where I was told to fork out £250 to secure a £5000 loan. Lo and behold, that £5000 hasn’t materialised in my bank account, and I highly doubt it ever will. What baffles me is that they still pick up the phone when I call! What options do I have here?

Got a call from some bloke named Roderick claiming he's from a company called ebicloans[###]. He told me I had to send £130 into his account before they'd release any money. Honestly, what a joke! These scammers will try anything, so I'd steer clear of that number if I were you.

My dad got a call at his house in Bulgaria from someone saying my brother had an accident with a gas cylinder and needed cash for surgery. They gave him a fake number, 9180, supposedly to contact the government. Worried, he phoned the number, and after a long chat, he realised it was a con. Later, I asked the phone company about charges, but they said there were no calls made from my dad’s phone that day, which seems odd. Fingers crossed the operator's info is right and we won’t get hit with a massive bill because of it.
