I received a rather persistent call from a lady with a distinctly Indian accent who identified herself as being from “Curry’s PC World.” She was peddling some sort of “promotional offers.” It felt like a total con. I couldn't help but express that she had far more potential than resorting to such underhanded tactics to swindle folks. As soon as she grasped that I wasn't likely to fall for her ruse, she promptly disconnected the line!

I received a call from a gentleman with a distinctly Indian accent, who claimed to be representing O2 and was trying to tempt me with some discount on my bills. I decided not to entertain the conversation, promptly hung up, and made sure to block the number.

A chap with an Indian accent rang me up, claiming to be from O2. I greeted him with a 'hello', but after that, the conversation didn’t really go anywhere-he just kept echoing 'hello' back at me. Eventually, he hung up but then tried to ring me again!
