I received a call today from the same number, delivering an identical message.

I received a voicemail from this number claiming to be the Inland Revenue, and it had an ominous tone, warning me not to disregard it. I chose to disregard it because it sounds like a scam to me.

On the 11th of December 2018, at precisely 11:26, a lady named Jennifer Brown rang my elderly mother claiming to be a solicitor. She left a rather alarming message, suggesting that if my mum didn’t return the call, there would be dire repercussions. This unwarranted communication has caused my vulnerable mother a great deal of distress. In an attempt to get to the bottom of this, I called the same number from my workplace, only to be met with a male voice who, upon my enquiry about Jennifer Brown, abruptly hung up on me, which only added to my concerns.

I received a message suggesting that if I don’t take their call, I might end up in legal trouble... It sounds like they're just trying to scare me into responding.

Got a call from this number at 8:20 this morning. I opted not to pick up, and they left a voicemail claiming to be from HMRC. The message urged me to call back or face supposed legal action. It was an American voice on the automated recording, which raised a few eyebrows. Definitely sounds like a dodgy scam to me... steer clear of calling back!

Got a rather dodgy call earlier today-an automated voice claiming to be from HMRC. They insisted it was crucial for me to ring them back pronto since it was apparently "time-sensitive". Clocked it as a scam pretty quickly and hung up. Just a heads-up!
