Got a call saying I owed tax money and it was urgent. Sounded fishy to me, like a scam trying to trick me outta my cash. Never answered after that.

Got a call from 0203 289 9622 back on 27th June 2020 in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The lady on the other end had a strong accent, sounded like she was from somewhere in East Asia or something, couldn’t catch what she was saying at all. Told her straight up that I didn’t understand and if she was trying to sell me something or do some survey, I’m not interested.

This morning a woman called me saying she was with Barnes Company but then she just cut me off. Not sure if it’s 'cause I’m not the right age for whatever they were after!

It rings a single time and cuts off, then I get a text telling me I missed a call. I don’t have time for pointless calls, especially when I’m covered in oil up to my elbows. Usually, I get about three or four calls like this every month, all coming from London numbers.

Somebody called saying they were phones[###] and tried to sell me an S20 for £25 a month, but their site actually shows £47 per month. Kept pushing me for my info so I asked them to prove who they were, then ended the call. I blocked the number straight away. Seriously, be careful and don’t get caught out!

Pretty sure it’s a scam. The site they mentioned was something like ‘[#]phonesI###]’. Right from the start, the guy wanted to sell me some contract deal, so I just ended the call. Definitely feels like they’re out to trick you. Best thing is to block the number straight away.

Keeps calling from 020 3289 9622, some woman from London. She’s phoned me about eight or nine times, just hanging up then ringing straight back. It's proper annoying and feels like harassment. Tried talking over me, wouldn't let me get a word in, kept asking what phone I was using. Total scam, they need to get put to an end.

Got a call from some robot guy pushing phones, and no matter how much I said I wasn’t up for chatting about phones on a bank holiday, it just kept going. My suggestion? Just block the number and save yourself the hassle.
