Got a call from some Anna fella, she said she’s trying to reach a Paul Johnson this afternoon. Bit suspicious, I’m thinking of letting the cops know.

Yesterday, my dad answered a call from this number (21 Jan 15). A man with an Asian accent said he was ringing from Barclays and asked for my mum, offering a £2000 PPI refund. My dad quickly guessed it was a scam and ended the call right away. We’re gonna let Barclays know about this.

Got a call from this number today. Honestly, I feel bad for anyone that got tricked, but I just ignore these calls. I never had any PPI claims, so why would I get any money back? People really should only trust companies they’ve actually done business with and not expect refunds for things they never claimed in the first place.

Got a call from a lady mentioning some loan from ages back and even named the firm. I told her my number’s on the TPS (which honestly feels useless!) and she just goes, “doesn’t matter! I’m not trying to sell you anything.” I pointed out I shouldn’t be getting calls like this anyway, and she snapped back with “well, sort it with your phone company then!” I ended the call there, proper annoyed by how rude she was!

My 85-year-old Dad got caught up with a PPI scam. They claimed to be from 'Black Horse Finance' and demanded £180 straight away. I warned the woman that if she rang back again I'd report her to the police for fraud. She's pretty persistent though, so I reckon this isn't over yet.

It's absolutely appalling how these despicable scammers operate! Just the other day, my poor elderly neighbour was duped out of £250. I wish I could've been around to prevent her from rushing off to the shops for those ucash vouchers! They really played on her emotions, leaving her utterly distraught and in tears. I've reported it to the police, but they've said there's little they can do, which is infuriating. We need to raise awareness about this scam far and wide to shield our elderly community from these heartless thieves. I sincerely hope that those wretched scammers face justice for their actions!

This has got to be one of the worst PPI scams going around. My elderly neighbour was ripped off for more than £250 just yesterday. I phoned the number myself and let them know exactly what I thought of their disgusting tactics. The cops have this number now, but nothing seems to be happening. It’s so frustrating, I really wish I could do more to catch these scumbags. They’re preying on the most vulnerable people. If anyone knows how to actually stop this, please share. My neighbour’s absolutely devastated and can’t get over losing that money. I’m genuinely worried about her and feel helpless apart from warning others here.

Honestly, I’m really fed up with this number calling me! They’ve rung three times already today. I’m tryin to keep my phone handy for hospital and emergency stuff, not for all this PPI nonsense!

Ugh, this number is driving me mad! I’ve had three calls from it today alone. I’m in hospital for emergency stuff right now, can’t these lot give it a rest with their PPI nonsense?!

Got a call on the 1st of May 2014 that was just full of racist and abusive stuff.

Receiving incessant calls from this number, and the individual seems to be using a made-up name. The language they employ is quite vulgar and inappropriate.

They've rang me loads of times, and most of the time as soon as you pick up they just cut off. It's defo a big con, they want you to pay £150 through UKash vouchers to get your PPI refund. Honestly, don't waste your time - you ain't getting any PPI cash back and your £150 will just vanish.

Some bloke rang up sayin I was owed PPI cash, but then he wanted me to pay £150 first using ukash. Sounded dodgy to me.

Beware, these guys tried to scam me with some PPI nonsense. They promised £650 in cash but first demanded £150 through Ukash as a sort of advance payment. Definitely a total con. Don’t trust them!

got a call about some ppi thing, but they wanted cash upfront even tho they said they’d already give me £650 in cash. bit daft they won’t just take it from that, instead they want me to pay using a ukash voucher or summat. wouldn’t trust it!
