I received a call from someone masquerading as "National Accident Helpline." The accent hinted at some Polish roots, but what a complete tosser! I asked him multiple times for his address, the name of the managing director, and the company registration number. Eventually, he began to whimper like a child and expressed regret for ringing me. It’s a shame they're based abroad, as the Telephone Preference Service is completely unhelpful in situations like this.

Just received yet another intrusive phone call, claiming I’ve been involved in an accident. Apparently, it’s from the National Accident Helpline. But let’s be honest, it’s just someone from India reciting a script word-for-word. It’s all rather tiresome, isn’t it?

Received a call earlier today, the 26th of October, 2017, around half past ten in the morning. A man was on the line, claiming he had information regarding a recent car accident I was involved in. I advised him to have a word with himself and consider finding some honest work instead.

I received a call today from someone who claimed to be representing an insurance firm-though I can't quite recall which one-regarding an incident I supposedly had within the last couple of years. It was all rather muddled and lacking specifics. Trouble is, I've had no accidents for over a decade now, so I told the chap that I was not falling for any dubious schemes and requested him to leave me alone. Then I promptly ended the call. The number flashed on my screen was marked as International too.
