This bloke called David Cole, sounded like he had an accent, and told me to buy a £90 iTunes gift card. He said then I'd get £1800 in cash from some Kelly Linda for a PPI claim on a loan from Lloyds bank for £2800. Thing is, I've never taken out a loan with Lloyds, so it was a dead giveaway it was dodgy.

Yeah, this happened to me too. Some person with an Asian accent but an English name called up saying I was owed PPI compensation. They claimed they knew exactly how much I'd get and then asked me to buy a £100 Paysafe card. After that, they said a solicitor would ring me that same day to arrange the payout. Total scam, don’t fall for this!

Just like a few others here, I got a call yesterday from someone saying I’m due a £2,370 PPI payout. The bloke had an Asian accent and went by Richard Brown - bit obvious, right? He mentioned that his accounts manager would ring me back today around 1pm to confirm everything. Last time I got one of these calls, I reported it to the National Fraud Department; they took all my details but clearly haven’t bothered to follow up on it. I expect today’s call will be asking me to pay something upfront. If that happens, I’m gonna tell them to “get comfy, put your feet apart, bend over and see how you like a bit of your own medicine!”

Got a call from this number about a supposed £2300 PPI claim. They wanted me to buy a paysafe card for £100 upfront. They even suggested I get a short-term loan from the bank until their so-called solicitor came round with a cheque, promising to give me the £100 back in cash. Yeah, right! Sounds like a total scam to me. I wonder how many folks fall for this rubbish?

Got a call from this number about some £2300 compensation for PPI. They asked me for a £100 Paysafe card payment. Then, they told me to pop down to the bank to get a loan for a few hours until their solicitor shows up with the cheque, promising to hand back the £100 in cash for the Paysafe voucher. Yeah, right! Completely dodgy. I wonder how many folks they end up tricking with this scam?

This number has called me a couple of times claiming I’m eligible for a PPI payout. They say I could get a cheque for about 2 grand, but they keep asking me to send a paysafe card. The people sound like they’re from India, but strangely use very English names like Mark Wilson. Feels really fishy to me.
