02032891954 - total scam alert - someone called claiming to be Eric from Wide Voyage Experts, trying to offer us a cheaper price for a hotel booking we already confirmed. Really pushy and didn’t take no for an answer. Definitely dodgy!

A bloke with a European accent called and gave his name as Eric Stevens. He asked for somebody in marketing, but I told him we don't have a marketing team here.

In the past hour, this number plus a few others (four in total) have been ringing me repeatedly, around every ten minutes. I ignored most, but one showed up as 'private number', and I picked up thinking it might be my doctor or hospital about an appointment. Turned out it was a scammer for sure. As soon as I answered, I could hear the background noise typical of a call centre, then this irritated sigh like ‘humph’ before they abruptly hung up. Not long after, likely the same number rang again - seems like they’re testing to see if I’ll pick up.

Got a call about some conference accommodation, bit annoying really. Just trying to push me to book or whatever. Not interested at all.
