Reports on phone number 02032891890
10 yearsA rather dubious character rang up claiming there was an issue with our BT internet service and stated they’d need to suspend our connection for about four to five days. When we asked for her name and the address of her operation to report her to the authorities, she bizarrely began reciting our own phone number and home address instead. Naturally, we hung up. She had the audacity to call back, demanding to know why we disconnected the line. As soon as I put her on loudspeaker, the line went dead. I promptly dialled the police from a different device. Interestingly, when trying to return the call, the number was unreachable! The ironic twist? We don’t even use BT! Just a few days prior, the very same number had contacted us under the pretext of fixing an issue with my computer, claiming to be from Microsoft! What a right pickle!BTMicrosoft10 yearsI received a rather peculiar phone call from an Asian chap who insisted on referring to me as 'madam'. He claimed to be from BT and warned that my internet service would be suspended for as long as 15 days. Little did he know, I’m not even a BT customer! The number he asked me to ring back was 0203 289 2504, which I later discovered has already been flagged by others as dodgy.BTSubmit Your Own Report (020 3289 1890)
