I got a call from this number claiming I won £125,000 but then asked for my passport and driving licence details, which I refused to give. They then told me to call Lynch Solicitors on another number. When I checked with Virgin Media, they said the first number was automatically generated and it’s definitely a scam to steal your info. Don’t answer or call back, just block these numbers. The original call was from 00131 588880329 and Lynch Solicitors’ number was 02032891555. Avoid them at all costs!

Got a call telling me I won some big US lottery prize, but I’m pretty sure it’s just a scam trying to get my details. Don't fall for it!

Somebody called saying I’d won £125,000 and I had to go to the US to pick it up, or get a solicitor called Lynch Associates to sort it for me. I gave them my email, even though I felt it was probably a scam. But when you’re desperate for cash, you tend to listen. Watch out, folks! The number they gave for the solicitor was 0013477728941. Take care, Julie.
