Dont ever engage with those massive scammers. They keep ringing and sending letters, especially going after older and vunerable people. Such a shame.

smiley network charged me £175 for a supposed one-time insurance policy, complete rubbish! total con artists. managed to get my cash back in the end but they’re really rude and pushy when you confront them about the scam.

Smiley Network and All Pay are total rip-offs. They keep putting direct debits on my elderly mum’s bank account, and I’m forever having to check and stop them. They just take the cash and don’t give anything in return. If you’ve been tricked by them, I’d say report it to the police.

Got a call from Smiley Network but my old mum didn't hand over any bank info. Later saw £50 gone from her account and they'd started a direct debit. We cancelled it right after the first payment. The Direct Debit team at all pay said they arranged it and told us to ring Smiley Network. Ended up going in circles with them both just pointing fingers. Wouldn’t trust either company one bit.

Smiley network withdrew £175 from my elderly grandma without proper explanation. When I called to ask what it was about, they were super rude and wouldn’t give me a straight answer. I’ve reported them to trading standards and they said I should get the money back in about a week or so. I’ll be contacting the bank too. Not sure how they managed to get hold of her bank info since I’ve handled her finances for years. These people are seriously dodgy!!

Smiley Network was attempting to withdraw £70 monthly from my elderly neighbour’s account without him knowing. Luckily, he showed me the letter they sent. The bank was brilliant and stopped it immediately. Please have a look at vulnerable and older folks’ bank statements when you can, it’s shocking what these people are up to.

Make sure you have a look at the bank accounts of any older family members, this kinda thing is still going on. I just checked my elderly auntie’s statement and saw £150 gone, taken by something called smileynetwork. Could be more, still going through it. She’s dead sure she never gave out her bank info, but she’s been hassled on the phone for months by some bloke claiming he could stop scam calls. She was registered with TPS, switched her to BT, but the calls kept coming anyway. I reckon there’s a link somewhere.

On Fri 9.10.20 I noticed £150 was taken from my account by Direct Debit but I have no clue who these dodgy lot are. This has to be a scam since I havent shared my details with anyone. Somehow these fraudsters have managed to pick me out too. Just warning everyone to watch out and dont get caught out!

It’s disgusting they keep doing this, preying on people with dementia like that. Hard to believe they’re allowed to carry on.

My mother-in-law, who is 89 and suffers from dementia, had two £160 Direct Debit payments taken by Future 5G in September. She doesn’t remember any calls and never shares her bank info, so we’re clueless how they got hold of her details. We reported these dodgy charges to the bank’s fraud team. Now, today, another Direct Debit went out to Smiley! We’ve had to go back to the bank’s fraud department again. Please be careful with these people taking money without permission. Surely something should be done to put a stop to this.

Had the same thing happen to me. They go after older people, set up Direct Debits without proper consent even after I told them to cancel all policies and erase my info. I’d already cancelled any Direct Debits before. Absolute scam artists preying on the elderly.

Smiley Network charged my 89 yr old mum £150 without permission. She has dementia and no access to the internet! I’ve managed to put a stop to it now. This company is utterly shameless, targeting the elderly especially during such a difficult time and unlawfully getting hold of bank info. My mum wouldn’t even know her bank details as I handle all that for her. Truly horrid conduct.

I just found a direct debit of £150 taken from my mum’s account to Future 5G, and this was the first payment. My mum is 89, lives alone, and has dementia. This feels really unfair, so I’ve gone ahead and cancelled any more payments to Future.

These lot conned me 90 year old mum whilst we were all stuck at home. I noticed a £99 direct debit on her April bank statement. She’s on the no-call list and really vulnerable. I’ve stopped the payment and told trading standards about it.

Future 5G Ltd are not honest. I questioned them about cash they took from my parents. They claimed it was for software on their phone line, which makes no sense. I stopped the direct debit but they set up another one for £150. Check with your bank and dispute the direct debit - you might get your money back. I’m shutting my parents’ account and starting a new one to block them from taking anything else. I’ve reported them to trading standards, companies house, and Action Fraud. Worth getting help from Citizens Advice too.

Future 5G took £49.95 from my mother-in-law's bank account by direct debit even tho we cancelled it like 4 months ago. They've somehow set up the same direct debit again without our consent and we can't get hold of them at all. We're gonna pass everything onto Barclays fraud team to sort it out.

They’ve charged my mum more than £200 for a phone that BT sells for just £29. These companies seem to buy lists of numbers belonging to people they reckon will be easy to convince on the phone. It’s awful because my mum has dementia, and they took advantage of her like that. First, someone from Future 5G rang and said there was something wrong with her phone and she needed a new one. Now I’ve noticed a payment to Smiley Network, which I found out is from the same place. This time there was no call, just several charges on her bank card. I’m about to contact Lloyds fraud team next.

as of 02/11/2015, this number is now being used by sparta telecom to call landlines out of the blue, trying to persuade you to change your line rental to them. usually some bloke with an indian accent called ‘albert’. they usually have no clue about your name or who your internet or phone provider is.

Starting from the 2nd of November 2015, Sparta Telecom has been utilizing this particular number to make unsolicited calls to landline phones. Their objective is to convince you to switch your line rental service to them. The person making the calls is often identified as 'Albert' and usually speaks with an Indian accent. It's worth noting that they won't have any knowledge about your name or which internet service provider or line rental company you are currently with.

This morning, I received a phone call from a company. Unfortunately, I had difficulty understanding the individual on the other line, who happened to be an Indian man. Soon after, I was transferred to an Indian woman whose level of communication skills was equally challenging. After 15 minutes, I became frustrated and politely asked them to cancel all the information provided and requested them not to contact me again.

They continuously make phone calls, but fail to respond when they are called back.

They ring our office loads of times a day and just hang up as soon as we pick up!

A man called Albert phoned me on this number - obviously a cold call, so I asked if they could remove our office from their list. Albert wouldn’t agree and started asking why I didn’t want to chat. I told him I was at work and couldn’t really take calls right now. He said I was being rude, which made me laugh. I told him he was getting annoyed even though he was the one who phoned me. I got a bit curious and asked what he wanted, but he refused to say and then just hung up. Seemed alright though, I might try calling back later.

A lady from an Indian company called me claiming to be from "Smarter" or "Sparta" Telecom and wanted to review my landline charges. The call quality was extremely poor, with lots of background noise and interruptions. I was curious why she was contacting me, but she rambled on incoherently. I finally asked if she was affiliated with a telecom company, and before I could say anything else, she abruptly ended the call. It made me think that this telecom business must not be very reputable if their representatives can't communicate properly and have such low-quality phone connections. In fact, I have a personal rule of never purchasing anything from someone who cannot speak English clearly. I even switched surgeons because I couldn't understand his explanations due to English not being his first language.

This particular number keeps calling multiple times, and sometimes it appears to be from an international route. They ignore the TPS, which is quite disrespectful. Clearly, they are a bothersome caller that causes inconvenience.

Got a call back from a similar international number (+442032891111) and they were pitching the same deal. Definitely the same person from the last few reviews!

This number rang me again, trying to lower my monthly line rent. I told them about my current package, which isn’t even in their league, and they just said "Alright mate, enjoy your plan" then cut the call. (I’m the same person who wrote the review under this)

Called back and got nothing, just silence.

This number rang me earlier today. Don’t know how they had my digits! The guy said I was the owner of the phone number, but when I kindly explained that I wasn’t and that my partner was actually the one working, he just cut me off and ended the call.

Got a call from some so-called smarter phones, I asked why they were ringing as my number's ex-directory. They said something about my landline. When I told the lady, who had an oriental accent, to take my number off their list, she just cut me off before I could say more.

Got a call from an indian woman claiming to be from “sparta telecoms telecoms”, saying she could lower my bill. I asked how they got my info since I’m ex directory, and she said it was already in their system. I pushed a bit and mentioned “if you're using an automated dialler, don’t you know it's not allowed here?” then she just ended the call. 1471 showed me this number.

Despite being registered with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service), I received a call from this individual. When I mentioned that I was protected by the TPS and intended to report them, they responded with doubt, asking me if I was certain. It's truly incredulous.

Got a call from Sparta or Smarter Telecom, some guy with an African accent saying they’d cut my landline bill. I told ’em I’m in Spain and not interested, asked for the person paying the bill, then just let them ramble to nobody. They ended up hanging up.763283

Over the last couple of days we’ve had more than 20 calls at work from someone claiming to be Spartan Telephone communications. Even after saying we’re not interested a few times, they just don’t seem to stop!

Phone cut out and then I heard some weird electronic noise right after. They rang again after a couple mins - same number, Smarter Telecoms, looks like a cold call. This is the second time they've done this today.

I just ignored the call and hit them back with my t#### box. Checked the number and it’s apparently some "vibration training" workout gear. Never called them or asked anything. Such an annoying cold caller.

Had a couple of missed calls from this number. Rang back but only got voicemail. Feels dodgy, probably some sort of scam.

Got a call today about 1.30pm on my office direct line. The bloke had an Indian accent and wanted to talk to the person who owns the number. I explained it’s a company leased line and an IP phone. He kept pushing for the telecoms manager’s name and contact, so I just ended the call. Felt like one of those cold calls trying to drum up marketing leads, no calls back though so far.

this number rang my landline but then just cut off after a few secs. if they don’t wanna talk, i reckon it’s a scam.

Got a call today at 14:05 on my landline, no one answered and it just cut off after about 4 seconds. Looked up the number online and saw it might be linked to some kind of vibration plate company.

My phone buzzed and when I picked up, the call just cut off straight away. I checked with 1471 and got this number. Tried calling it back, but an automated voice said the line was busy. Not sure if it’s some sort of scam or simply someone dialled wrong, but since this number has been looked up here about eight times, I’m guessing it’s probably suspicious.
