If you get calls from 0203 289 1031, be careful, it’s a scam for sure. I got threatening emails from them too, but when I looked at the sender’s email address, it was obvious they’re trying to trick you. Don’t call back because they charge a premium rate, and then you end up talking to some call centre in India, costing you more money. Best to just block and ignore them altogether.

I received a call from a bloke with a rather thick foreign accent claiming to be from The Times. He mentioned he had a quick survey for me. He inquired whether I had a mortgage on my home, if I had any investors involved, and whether I'd be open to putting a certain amount of money into a business venture. It dawned on me that this wasn't merely a survey at all. He mentioned that someone else would be reaching out to me shortly with a proposition. I firmly declined the idea of investing in anything, and that wrapped up our chat rather swiftly.

It’s been great not having to answer this number at all. We use the BT8500 phone, and it automatically blocks every caller without even ringing once. Honestly, one of my best purchases. We still have free Call Display since we've kept our BT contract active. Any calls from people saved in my contacts come through just like usual. Plus, you can add other numbers manually even if they’re not in your contacts, which is handy if you’re expecting a callback later.

02032891031 Pretty much the same as the other calls ive had, claiming to do a survey for the Financial Times but then saying they’re calling from a call centre. Saying you’re on the TPS registers don’t seem to faze them at all.

Some bloke from India called me sayin my dad sent a letter to the Financial Times and they wanted to interview him. Thing is, my dad died five years ago. I gave the guy a proper bashing and he freaked out and just hung up straight away.

I didn’t pick up the call and it went straight to voicemail. After that, I heard a guy with a weird accent talking to a woman about the Financial Times! She didn’t respond but it’s strange - how come we could hear someone else’s chat anyway?

The woman on the phone was hard to follow, but it sounded like something about money. I just said, "You've gotta be kidding me," and hung up.

I've just had a similar encounter where they hung up on me. Fingers crossed I won't receive another call from them!

Got a call earlier from someone with a strong Indian accent talking about money stuff. I just told him to piss off and hung up straight away.

I got a call from a guy who sounded foreign, maybe African? He kept asking if I had an ISA, any property or shares. I just said "yeah" to all his questions. Pretty sure he got fed up after a while!!!

Got a call from 02032891031 but it just rang my voicemail. No message left or anything. I've blocked the number now.

Got a call from 02032891031, and it's clear they’re up to no good, trying to trick people into giving bank details so they can rob them. Absolutely fed up with these dodgy calls, they’re nothing but a bunch of muppets!

Rings every night but I never pick up, and they never bother to leave a voicemail.

It appears that I've been receiving a number of nuisance calls that seem to be nothing more than childish pranks. I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could investigate this matter. Cheers!

They keep ringing non stop so i just say no to all their offers until they finally give up.

Got another call from abroad, trying to sell me stuff I never asked for and don’t want at all. Even with the TPS in place, why does this number just won’t stop harrasing?

I always let my answerphone pick up calls like this. Since no voicemail was left, I’m taking it as harrassment.

This number rang me but my bt 8500 phone stopped the call, honestly the best thing I’ve ever bought.

The Financial Times have informed me that these calls are not linked to them at all, here’s the message they sent me. I’d recommend anyone else getting these calls reaches out to the FT as they plan to pursue legal steps against these people. "Thank you for your email about the calls you received. We are aware that a third party is making calls claiming to be from or representing the Financial Times. These calls have no association with us, and we are looking into possible actions to take."

It appears that being on the Telephone Preference Service list does little to help. I wonder what the point of signing up is if companies can still get in touch with you regardless.

Got a ring from this number earlier claiming to be from The Financial Times, mentioning some address like 271 Regent Street, London W1B 2ES. The person sounded foreign and was asking loads of questions about my money. I just kept chatting, gave plenty of made-up info, and then sent a report about it to The Financial Times at their email [email protected][###]

Another pointless sales call, make sure to report this number to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).

Yep, same here with a lady who sounded Indian, said she was doing a survey for the Financial Times. She asked some pretty personal stuff about my finances and investments. I chose not to respond.
