Just like the rest, I got a really rude bloke calling from India. He said his name was "Dennis Grey". Proper annoying.

Got a voicemail from a woman’s recorded voice about a urgent issue, said I had to contact them straight away. The last thing she said was “stay safe.” Kinda gave me the creeps! Definitely don’t pick up or ring them back.

I was nearly fooled into paying because they really freaked me out. They've got my NI number and birthday now. Is there any way I’m protected?

They rang me up 4 times and never bothered to return the call, cheers to this site for the info!

Got a call earlier saying it was urgent about some tax fraud case. When I rang back, some guy with an Indian accent said he was from HMRC and claimed I owed £3750. I asked what it was about and if they could prove it by giving me my NI number or any other details, but they just ended the call. I've blocked the number now. It's mad how these scammers get hold of our personal info and phone details! Watch out, it’s definitely a scam!

Just a heads up, it's a total scam. Best thing to do? Block 'em and don't bother with any of it. Absolute rubbish!

Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC with a scary "Call back right away or face serious consequences" message. Total scam, obviously.

Got a robocall supposedly from HMRC saying I need to ring back on this number or have my lawyer do it, or else there’ll be serious trouble. Total scam, no doubt about it. Really worried that an older or vulnerable person might be tricked by this rubbish.

Just like a lot of others, I got one of those automated calls saying I needed to ring them back. When I did call the number provided, it kept ringing for ages before a bloke answered with a weird accent and said, "Thanks for calling HMRC." Definitely feels like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone named Peter Williams, but he spoke with a strong Indian accent. When I asked him something, he refused to answer and rudely told me to keep quiet and pay attention, warning me of serious consequences if I didn’t. Definitely don’t want to hear from him again!

Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC saying I owed tax money. I called them out and then they switched it up, saying I must be mixing things up with a car wash! When I told them I’d report their scam, they started swearing at me. Proper dodgy bunch.

Got a call from some pushy sales people too, but they never brought up HMRC or anything official, so I just brushed it off. Definitely looks like a scam to me!

Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be Dennis Grey from HMRC about some urgent matter. It was one of those automated messages, not a real person on the line. The message said if me or my solicitor don’t ring back, I should “brace myself for the consequences.” Then they weirdly ended with “keep safe!” Honestly, the way they spoke just seems dodgy - who would talk to you like that if it was legit? Seems like a total scam to me.

I got a call from someone called Dennis Grey or something like that, said it was from HMRC. Total rubbish! HMRC never leaves messages like that, especially ones that sound like they’re from a robot. Plus, they usually only use numbers starting with 03 or 08, not random ones. Definitely a scam.

I got a voicemail from an automated voice telling me to ring up some officer Dennis Grey at HMRC about something urgent, but they didnt say what it was about. Funny thing is, this is the second message from HMRC I’ve had today, and both came from different phone numbers.

Got a voicemail from a woman claiming to be ‘Denis Grey from HMRC,’ asking for a solicitor to ring back about some urgent matter. This is the second call I've had with these first four digits today. Just gonna block it and steer clear.
