Agreed, I received a phone call from a gentleman based in London who claimed to have £7500 for me. I cautiously asked him to send it over, but I now understand it's a major scam. I just wanted to warn everyone about this, so please be extremely cautious. Unfortunately, I am unable to return the call.

Similar to many incidents, my elderly mother was almost duped by a fraudulent scheme. A person with an Indian accent, claiming to represent the dispatch department of the City Court in London, informed her that she was entitled to a cheque worth £2850 related to HSBC/HBOS. The scammer further instructed her that a courier will be sent to her residence on the same day to collect her identification, obtain her signature, and so on. Fortunately, I arrived just in time to prevent any harm.

This is a blatant scam, it's the second time within a year that I've received a call from these fraudsters. Be wary of becoming a victim as their intentions are to rob you.

I've been approached by someone requesting a £175 iTunes card in exchange for my £2560 cheque. Obviously, I won't fall for such a scam. However, I'm continuously engaging with the person to waste their time and prevent them from targeting someone who could be easily manipulated.

Today, I received a call that was very similar to one I had before. The person on the other end of the line seemed rather unimpressed when I confronted them about the validity of iTunes vouchers and warned them about involving the police.

I received a phone call from this particular number recently. The person on the other end informed me that they had a cheque for me, amounting to £5800 as compensation for PPI. Interestingly, they requested either a cheque or an iTunes voucher worth £250 in return. Isn't that funny? Clearly, it's a scam!

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from the county court. They said they had a cheque worth £2850.37 for PPI compensation on my credit card and promised to hand-deliver it along with Mr Richard White. However, they requested £200 in phone vouchers. I got a call from the London County Court today, informing me that I need to contact the despatch line number in order to receive a £2,850 cheque for a mis-sold PPI on my credit card. I am perplexed because I hadn't looked into any potential PPI claims, so I'm not sure how this cheque could be valid. Could this be a scam?
