Got a call on my landline from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be a BT engineer. He told me to ring this number on my mobile to fix some supposed problem with my BT internet being hacked or something. He even gave me what he said was his staff number, plus a case and reference ID. When I didn’t seem bothered or believe him, he sounded pretty annoyed like I wasn’t treating the call seriously. Bit of a laugh, really.
