I've been plagued by a bothersome caller who seems to be using some sort of automated system to ring my number. Quite frustrating, really!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent, sounded like she was from Bhopal or somewhere similar. She claimed my computer was full of viruses. I asked her who she was calling from, and she said “Windows.” I said, “You mean Microsoft, right?” She repeated windows again. I just told her she was a total liar and told her to get lost. These annoying calls are driving me mad.

Every week around half past four, I get calls from various London numbers, even though I’m based in South Wales. It’s the same deal each time, but I just don’t pick up now. I end up hanging up straight away.

I tried to find out which computer was showing the warnings but all she would say was the one running Microsoft 10! When I asked her to explain more, she just ended the call.

Looks like those Microsoft scam folks have taken over the phone of some tax firm. I didn't catch the call earlier, so I rang back to find out what was up. Bet they're proper confused over there!

Got a call off a woman, sounded Asian, who claimed she was from Windows, saying my computer was infected with harmful viruses. When I told her she wasn’t with Microsoft, she insisted, “No, I’m with Windows.” I called her out as a con artist, and she got all defensive, going back and forth with me. I just ended the call after that. Honestly, this is about the twentieth time I’ve had this same call this week.

Got a call this morning, and the moment the lady said it was about my computer, I lost it and gave them a proper barrage of swear words. Told them to jog on and multiplied themselves for good measure! That number’s definitely blocked now!

This morning, I received a rather unwelcome call. The moment the caller hinted it was regarding my computer, I unleashed a torrent of expletives that would make a sailor blush! I didn’t hold back and informed them to take a hike! That number is now firmly on my blocked list!

Some bloke rang me saying he was Adam from Microsoft or something like that! Complete rubbish if you ask me. Didn't bother listening much, just hung up straight away. Total scam, watch out everyone!

I'm absolutely sick to death of receiving these sorts of calls! Even though I'm signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, it seems to do absolutely nothing to deter these foreign con artists.

Got a call from an unknown number. There was just some lady, maybe, laughing lightly and then the line went dead. Don’t have a clue who it was.

This number just keeps ringing me non-stop, it’s so annoying! I can’t believe in this day and age we still have to put up with these scam calls. I’ve asked them over and over again to take me off their list but it’s like talking to a brick wall. Honestly, they’re super rude and clueless. From now on, if one of these cold callers rings me, they’re gonna get a bit of my mind straight away!

The caller was quite impolite, refusing to disclose their name or the company they were representing. They insisted that it wasn't my concern, so I couldn't understand the reason for the call in the first place!

They keep calling us no matter what. We’re on the PPS and even then, the calls keep coming through. We’re ex-directory too, which makes paying for it seem like a total waste. Best thing is just to block or ignore them.

Appreciate you sharing this. Got a phone call early Saturday morning around 8 o'clock and it ended up waking everyone in the house. Planning to file a complaint with the TPS to get it stopped.

Had yet another call from this number bright and early at half past seven this morning. This isn't the first time they've woken us up at such an unholy hour. We're both in our twilight years, and these early morning interruptions are really quite upsetting. Thankfully, we’ve got caller ID, so we’ve decided to just brush off their calls now. I can't fathom why this company is still permitted to operate; surely it’s misleading to claim they’re from Microsoft!

Got a call bright and early at half seven from some bloke asking for my missus by name. Funny enough, she was having some issue with her iPad, and this guy claimed he was a Microsoft tech, said he could sort out the bugs and fix her computer. I told him we’re divorced and that it was daft of him to ring me up, obvious scam if you ask me.

Received a call from this number at half past seven in the morning on the 7th of March, 2017. I've been inundated with calls from them. I kept the caller on the line for as long as I could, hoping to inflate their phone bill before they eventually hung up. Whatever you do, don't divulge any banking or account information to this caller-it’s definitely a scam!

Got calls from some folks with Asian accents claiming to be from "Microsoft." I told them to stop calling and ended the call. But now they won't quit, ringing me every day. This morning at 7:03 am on a Saturday they woke my little one up. Just don’t get involved - best to just hang up straight away. Absolute scumbags, trying to trick honest people out of money. Totally the lowest of the low.

Some bloke rang me pretending to be from "Windows," saying I’d got a virus on my computer. Total con job, obviously. When I asked if they worked for Microsoft, they clammed up and just said "Windows." I played along for a bit, asking if Bill Gates was still around there. They just kept reading their script like robots! Eventually, I told them they were scammers and hung up. It’s crazy that the police aren’t cracking down on these idiots more. Why do they let this go on?

I decided to humour the caller and acted like I was doing what he wanted. When he asked if a message had popped up on my screen, I cheekily replied, "Oh, absolutely!" Then, when he pressed for details, I told him it said, "Tell that scamming git on the line to bugger off!" At that point, the phone just went silent!

Got a call about 11:50 on a Friday morning telling me my laptop had some harmful software installed that I wasn't even aware of. I don't even own a laptop, so I knew straight away it was dodgy. They kept pushing me even after I said that! Been getting a few calls like this lately.
