Tried ringing this number today but no luck picking up. Just thought I’d mention it looks like the number’s live once more.

On the 19th of Feb 2025, my autistic 13 year old got a call from 020 3239 3856. They were asking him loads of questions and it didn’t feel right at all. When I stepped in and asked who was calling, they hung up straight away. I reckon it was cos I asked if they were a bit dodgy since some random grown-up was ringing a kid’s phone. Heads up to be cautious with this number - I saw it was reported nearly two years ago too.

020323985358 rang me saying they was MoneyMe and I could get a £5,500 loan that I supposedly asked for, but they need some details to confirm it before sending the money to my bank. I looked up MoneyMe’s website and their actual number was completely different. So I came here to check and found out it’s a scam! There’s some nasty folks out there just trying to scam people, but not me - I'm too savvy to fall for their tricks!

He mentioned some nationwide business linked to car accidents, which is quite puzzling as I haven't owned a car for ages. I couldn’t quite grasp his intention or why he was contacting me in the first place. After a bit of back and forth, he seemed rather frustrated and promptly hung up. Quite the odd encounter, if you ask me!

somebody phoned saying they are from nationwide solicitors linked to direct line about a crash i had ages ago, but they couldn’t give me a specific date. they said my compensation claim would expire in a year and would finish by mid jan, and if i didn’t claim now i’d lose out. i told them to keep their rubbish and that if it’s lost then so be it. i just ended the call straight away.
