Somebody rang claiming to be from EE. I told them no way, they denied it, going back and forth like that for a bit. Suddenly, I heard an automated voice say “your call is being recorded” - don’t think that was meant for me to catch! Then the person on the line asked “what did you say?” so I told them "You’re recording this call, play it back if you want!” This went on for a minute or two more. Lucky it was during a break in the cricket match, or I would’ve told them where to shove it! Blocked that number straight away.

Got a call from this number today, someone claiming to be from “EE Network” telling me I could get a new iPhone. When I said no thanks, they threatened to cancel my EE contract. I asked them to send me the info by text but nothing has come through so far.

I got a call saying it was from the Ministry of Justice and said I owed £9000, they told me to buy Amazon vouchers for the courts. I even sent £1000 to a bank account under the name Raymond Garton, account number 00011968. Later my daughter told me this was a scam. I’ve definitely fallen victim to this trick.

I picked up the phone but stayed quiet. After a while, the person on the other end just dropped the call. I looked up the number and, just like I thought, it seems like a scam. I had already blocked it by then. It’s pretty annoying at best, but after seeing loads of other reviews, I’ll definitely flag it as risky.

Got a bloke from India on the phone asking for someone who doesn't live here, then another name. Told him to stop wasting my time and ended the call. A few minutes later, he rings back asking the same names, so I told him to jog on and hung up again. He calls once more straight away, I said I'd report him and he goes on calling me an idiot! Haha.
