Sounds like the caller was either from India or China, if I had to guess.

This bloke's probably a scammer, been phoning me about four times already. Definitely fishy.

What a muppet.

I was trying to get a new warranty for my washing machine, but when I asked about the type of machine I had, they couldn’t tell if it was a front loader, top loader with an agitator, or a top loader with an impeller. Totally clueless!

That’s about as believable as if the biggest bloke on earth swore he’d quit eating crisps forever.

No idea who that was, couldn’t make out a word. Sounded really odd and unusual.

I was just about to buy insurance but they hung up before I got the chance to give my card info.

What a total muppet.

Not sure if it was legit, but the person from Cover Group UK sounded totally plastered or maybe just wasted on the call.

Got a call from some cover band in the UK, but the way the person talked was all over the place, like their English was really poor. I'm pretty sure they never went to any telesales training, or perhaps didn’t go to school either judging by how they spoke.

Mate, the warranty on that washing machine must have run out ages ago. You gotta sort it out and get it renewed, no messing about.

The voice was like one of those UK grime rappers you catch on TV sometimes. Amid all the nonsense, I caught bits like washing machine, cover, and renew. Didn't bother listening after that and just ended the call.

This number called me like 4 times, felt really sketchy to me. Def dodgy business.

I was all set to get cover with this firm, but the lady suddenly stopped me talking, which made me feel like maybe things weren’t as great as they first looked.

Somewhere down the line I got a call from a company selling insurance for washing machines - I dunno, I might actually need it for peace of mind. But then when I said I was interested, they just disconnected. Bit odd behaviour if you ask me. Maybe I dodged a bullet there?

Absolutely the worst scammer I’ve come across, pretending to offer insurance for washing machines. Honestly, no telesales firm in their right mind would hire someone this daft. What a complete muppet!

So I got a call from this guy who might be gay, which is absolutely fine - it’s 2020 and people should be free to be themselves. But what wasn’t fine was his dodgy attempt to scam me by pretending there was a problem with my washing machine, just to get my bank info. That’s really low, no matter your orientation, honestly. Proper shameful behaviour.

I told them my washing machine was too old and basically knackered when they called about renewing it. She just ended the call straight away! But they were back on the phone again earlier today. These persistent calls are really annoyin'.

Dodgy Dave and his fake washing machine cover - what a joke! Honestly, Dave, just buzz off, you muppet.

Someone, maybe more than one, pretending to work for a kitchen appliance warranty company, most likely trying to scam folks by using dodgy and dishonest tactics to get their bank info.

Someone called asking about a washing machine cover and actually had my number and address, which was a bit surprising.

Got a call from a lady speaking with a London accent, trying to sell me an extended warranty for a washing machine I don’t even own. When I asked for the company's name, she said it was Covergroup UK. Turns out there is a company called Covergroup, but they deal in coffee vending machines, not warranties. I told her I didn’t want any extended warranty, and she assured me she’d remove me from their call list. Not sure if she'll actually do that though.

Some lady called to tell me my washing machine cover needs renewing. She couldn’t even get the brand right and insisted I got it just last year. As soon as I told her that wasn’t true, she just ended the call.

I got a call from this guy named David trying to sell me insurance for my washing machine warranty, but I dont even have one! I asked if they covered fridges or microwaves instead, which they said yes to. Then I mentioned I didn't have those either because I'm dodging the tax man, HMRC, and asked if he could help with that. He just told me to F### off. Honestly, what a rubbish way to treat a potential customer. What sort of dodgy setup is this, Dave? Proper shameful behaviour from you, mate.

Got a call about some appliance insurance running out. When my missus said she’d hand the phone over to me, the bloke just ended the call straight away. Looks like a scam for sure. I’m thinking the insurance company’s had a data leak or something.

Got a call from some weird lady with a silly voice, asking if I wanted to get insulation added to my ambulance. Thing is, I don’t even have an ambulance! What a daft mistake.

So this woman called me, claiming she needs to add an extension to my washing machine? Like, is she planning to live inside it or something? Maybe rummaging through my jeans while they spin? Nah, thanks but no thanks, I’m not having any of that.

Some bloke rang me, sounded a bit dodgy to be honest. Can’t really say what he looked like though.

Some bloke rang me up saying he was from this Cover Group UK - I know that firm but he had no right to be using their name, trying to sell some washing machine insurance. When I asked where he was calling from, he said Brighton. But then I noticed his number didn’t line up with that location, so I called him out on it. He just swore at me and abruptly ended the call. Proper dodgy!

Had a proper odd lady on the phone with some strange accent I couldn’t make head nor tail of. She kept jabbering, but I had no idea what she was on about. After struggling to understand her nonsense, I asked if she’d been drinking. Next thing, she starts swearing at me and then just hung up. Pretty sure she was well pissed.

It came across like some dodgy warranty pitch, maybe for washing machines or something. Honestly, sounded kinda like a cat trying to munch on a wasp or summat.

I had some dodgy people pretending to be from a proper insurance company for appliances or something. Total scoundrels, acting all shady! Honestly, what a load of rubbish. Why don’t they just jog on and find an actual decent job like everyone else scraping by? Proper numpties, if you ask me.

Got a call from a woman claiming our Bosch washing machine warranty was about to run out. She insisted the warranty was registered under my name, which I found strange since my husband bought it. Then she asked for my bank details and sort code to arrange payment. Right then I said no and told her I’d check with my husband because it shouldn’t be under my name. After that, she just cut the call!

Got a call from someone saying my washing machine warranty was up, but it felt dodgy. They already knew my name and where I live. Told me they’d post some info soon, but from what I’ve seen on this site, it’s clearly a scam. Of course, the phone number they called from isn’t even real or working. Just be careful!
