Got a call from this London number but no voicemail or anything left. If it was someone important, they’d have left a message for sure. They tried calling again later in the afternoon and then in the evening. Usually I’d pick up on these sorts of calls but think I’m just gonna block it now.

I recently received a rather suspicious phone call from someone claiming to be with the critical data team at Microsoft, stating that my information had been compromised. I didn't buy into their story for a moment, but they were quite insistent and hesitant to end the call. I gave them about three minutes of my time as they attempted to persuade me that they could authenticate their identity over the phone. I told them to send me an email instead and promptly hung up.

They never left a voicemail, so I have no clue who that was. Honestly, what kind of UK business rings and then just drops the call without saying anything? Feels like some automated system just scanning through numbers or something.
