Really dodgy call - some bloke with an accent I couldn’t place pretending to be from BUPA. I told him straight away I’m on the TPS and to buzz off, then I hung up. Seriously, don’t waste your time with them. This kind of thing could be proper harmful, especially for people who are unwell and actually need to speak with real BUPA folks.

Got a call at 6:30pm on 5th Dec 2017. A bloke with an Asian accent asked if I’d gotten the council recycling flyer. I said I had. Then he rattled off my address and asked me to confirm it. I did, which I’m really kicking myself for after seeing others’ comments. Usually I'm way more cautious. Gutted.

Pretty sure this was a call centre ringing me up, a woman saying she was with Access Insight Leads and then suddenly said she was from BT after I said no. Told her to stop calling and remove my number. She said why I was asking. Well, maybe because I waste well over an hour every week dealing with these annoying calls. I've reported the number to the ICO.

I had a rather curious encounter today with a fellow of Asian descent who enquired if I had received the local newspaper, the NewsPost Leader. He referred to himself as Joseph. When I requested a callback number, he abruptly hung up. Moments later, he rang again to offer an apology, but before I could respond, the call disconnected. The number he called from appears to be invalid. What a strange experience!
