Got a call off some bloke saying he was from Eon Energy, saying my contract was about to end. He never asked for my name or if I was Mr so-and-so, just kept calling me "sir." I told him I was busy with work and quickly ended it. Feels like a dodgy scam to me, so I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone claiming they were with EON, but it was totally fake. They kept pestering me about signing some kind of renewal contract on the phone and didn't want to let it go. Had to hang up on them two times just to get rid of the bloke!

I got two calls from a man with a foreign accent who said he was from E-On trying to get me to renew my contract. I'm already with E-On and currently disputing something with them. They never mentioned anything about my complaint though. What's odd is they called my work number, but I don’t actually have any contract connected to my business name, even though they had my work phone number. It feels dodgy to me since they wouldn’t send any info through the post or properly confirm their identity. Sounds like a scam if you ask me.

Someone rang me saying they were from Opus, but when I asked them to verify the account password, they got it wrong. Still, they kept insisting they were with Opus. Bit fishy if you ask me.

Got a call from a bloke with a foreign accent, said he was from EDF and wanted to speak to the business owner about renewing our energy contract. I told him straight up we’re not with EDF and hung up. That’s the fourth time today some foreign caller’s pretended to be from energy firms or even Amazon. Blocked all of them now.

Got a call from someone saying my energy deal had ended with Eon, but that’s not true at all. Told me I must renew right away. They were quite pushy, so I just ended the call. Proper cheeky!

This bloke claimed to be from British Gas and insisted on getting some security info from me before sending an email about supposed new charges. I told him I wasn’t going to share any details, but he got really pushy, rude and kept hounding me! He rang back around five times even though I kept hanging up on him. We ended up in a proper argument. It was awful! How are these people allowed to behave like this? I’ll definitely be reporting him. To top it all off, we don’t even have a British Gas account, so he was wrong from the beginning.

Turns out this number belongs to a Stuart Wright who lives at 21a Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF. Funny how he's got such a big house when he's just busy scamming folks all the time! At least now we know where the cheeky bugger is based.
