I received a rather peculiar call claiming that my internet connection would be interrupted because someone was allegedly using it during the wee hours, specifically from 2 AM to 4 AM. To be honest, I found it hard to accept that this was a genuine call from BT.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from BT, informing me that my internet service is apparently compromised. This person provided a number for me to verify his identity, along with an address at 81 Newgate St, EC1A 7AJ as his office. The problem is, I don't even use BT for my internet connection! Quite baffling, really.
