Got a call from these muppets just now. The first bloke tried to prove he was legit by giving my address - only he messed it up and reckoned I live somewhere called 'Postcode'. What a numpty. I then asked where he’d grabbed my phone number from. He wouldn’t say and got quite annoyed, which was pretty amusing. After that, he shoved me onto his ‘supervisor’ (more like another muppet, if you ask me). This second guy kept going on about me being difficult. So, I asked him why he was ringing a military secure number and if that meant he’d hacked into my network. That threw him for a loop, so I told him to hang on while I transferred him through to military police investigations. He got proper flustered, angry, then just hung up. It’s absolutely mad they’re using a London number that’s obviously flagged as dodgy when you ring it back. You’d think BT could block this nonsense!

I've lost count of how many times I've asked them not to ring again about some issue with my computer. Yet today, they've called me at least three times, only for the call to drop after I pick up. Sometimes there's complete silence before I end it, other times the line just goes dead. It's really getting on my nerves having to keep telling them to stop calling.

I keep getting calls from this number, 02031291358, and missed loads of them. When I tried calling back, a recorded message popped up saying to be careful. Turns out, it's some call centre in India pretending to work for Microsoft. Whatever you do, don’t share any personal info or your bank details with them. If you’re getting calls from that number too, best to report it straight away to OFCOM.

I was feeling under the weather and just got a call from this number. A guy with a strong Indian accent claimed he was from Microsoft, telling me my computer had big problems and offered to help fix them. I told him I wasn't interested because I've heard about these types ringing up vulnerable people, getting into their computers, stealing personal info, and committing fraud. He kept insisting, "Please madam, I'm just trying to help your computer," but I wasn’t having it and told him I’m not stupid. Lucky for me, he failed to scam me. Honestly, it made me so angry! I really sympathise with those who've fallen victim to these scumbags. My tip? Just ignore them - if your computer really had an issue, your security updates would notify you.

I've received three calls from this number, all flagged as International. The latest call had the same number alongside the International tag. The caller's English was rather dreadful and he claimed there was an issue with my computer, asking me to press Ctrl and the Windows keys, then type IEX. I couldn’t make head nor tail of what he was saying and decided to end the conversation right there. He claimed he would endeavour to get a clearer line, but then rang back. When I told him I didn't own a computer, he abruptly hung up. Quite the strange experience!

I just got two calls from a guy with a really thick Indian accent claiming he was from the “Windows technical team." He told me they’d tried to send some Windows updates but they kept failing. Our laptop’s been running really slowly recently, so I was almost convinced this could be the cause. Luckily, my partner told me to hang up, but the bloke phoned again. This time my son answered and told him straight up we didn’t want his help and that he was a scammer. Big thanks to everyone who leaves comments on these sites - checking the number out always proves your doubts right. Don’t fall for it!

I got a call showing a London number, but the guy on the line had an accent that sounded like it was from India. He claimed to be from ‘Windows’ and said my computer had some kind of error. When I asked which device, he said the one running Windows 7. Since I have a few, I asked specifically which one was affected and he said ‘the newest one’. Then he tried telling me they were trying to push an important security update but couldn’t get through (as if). I asked him to repeat himself and told him Microsoft don’t just send updates out of the blue. He insisted, “We’re not Microsoft, we’re WINDOWS,” with a weird emphasis. I told him he must be joking and after he fumbled for a reply, he just hung up. Watch out! These calls are usually attempts to get you to install malware that could steal your info or lock your computers until you pay up.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the 'windows department'. When I asked for more specifics, they said 'windows help and support'. Then they told me to clear my browser bar, go to www.ammyy.com, download an .exe file and run it so their 'expert' could fix viruses that were supposedly causing my PC to crash. I just let them carry on with their nonsense for a bit, then told them I wasn’t some gullible pensioner, just having a day off. I asked if they felt okay ripping off vulnerable old folks like that. They just chuckled in this weird accent and said "the police won’t do anything".

This morning I got four calls from this number. A guy with a strong Indian accent kept saying there’s some issue with Microsoft and that he’s an official Microsoft partner who can sort out my computer. I told him I don’t even own a computer and asked him to stop ringing me. Despite that, he’s called three more times and every time I just hang up. This number has been ringing me nonstop. I work from home, so I have to pick up every call. Whenever I answer outside regular hours, someone with an Indian accent, sometimes a man or a woman, calls claiming to be from Windows support. One time I told them to take me off their list and stop calling, but the woman just chuckled and hung up. If I pick up during the day and say the name of my business, they just stay quiet and then the line drops. There really ought to be some way to shut these people down, but I can’t find any authority that handles complaints like this.

Today I got a call from this number claiming to be from the 'Windows Tech Department'. Totally obvious it was a con. To put them off, I blasted a super loud 'Come on England' air horn right into the phone - got it cheap on eBay and it's bonkers loud! That did the trick, they never called again.

I’ve had this number ring me up 6 times just today and every single time they hang up on me. It’s getting well annoying. The phone number is actually for my partner’s business so I gotta pick up. A while back they called saying my computer was infected with a virus and they could sort it out if I switched it on for them. Problem was, my computer was away getting fixed at that exact moment. When I explained this, the woman muttered something nasty like “bloody liar” and then just cut me off. Such cheeky behaviour!

Over the past few days, I've had loads of calls from strange numbers asking after Mr Grieves, trying to push these pointless surveys. They keep asking if this is the number for a certain address - I say no, then they want the address off me - I don’t give it. Then they ask for my name - again, no chance. It’s always the same spiel about PPI claims or insurance. Luckily, I got a BT phone that lets me block numbers so they don't actually ring anymore, though I can still see they’ve tried. This particular one has called me about six times now, roughly every hour or so. Proper annoying!
