Hi, I’m from Chesterfield and I just got a call from someone who was clearly trying to scam me out of my personal info. He kept twisting my words and trying to confuse me so I’d accidentally reveal sensitive details. He said it was about a debt that had been filed against me and asked me to confirm the amount, supposedly to help me. I didn’t fall for it and didn’t share anything. What’s odd is he claimed he didn’t know the exact figures because of data protection rules, but then he went on to mention information that definitely shouldn’t have been shared like that. Honestly, people need to stay vigilant and report these dodgy calls.
