At 8:45 in the morning on the 6th of August, I received a rather alarming call from the number 0203 0482933. It was an automated message purporting to be from a Monica Todd, supposedly representing HM Revenue and Customs, which included a rather ominous warning about legal repercussions. They insisted that the message shouldn't be ignored, which only added to the unease. I plan to report this deceptive attempt to HMG via their designated phishing email at [email protected], and I’ll also inform Action Fraud. Additionally, I intend to alert them via text to 60599. It's quite concerning how these scams are proliferating!
