These guys keep ringing me at work using different numbers starting with 0203808xxxx, probably trying to dodge call blockers. They buzz my office line a couple of times daily. I always see their number on caller ID but never answer. Sometimes they drop an automated voicemail telling me to email them if I want off their list - which I doubt would work since my number’s on the TPS and they really shouldn’t be calling me at all.

I got a call from a woman saying she was from Home Protection Services about a washing machine insurance I supposedly bought (which I definitely didn't). She knew my name and address, but when I questioned her about where she found my phone number, she just ended the call. These days, I just don’t pick up my phone straight away. First, I look up who’s rung me, then if it’s someone familiar, I call back. If it’s a number I don’t recognise, I always use this site to find out who they are. Honestly, it baffles me that in 2018, people still get away with making these annoying calls.
