Absolute scam artists. Got a call from them claiming I was due money over a car crash that never happened. I played along for about 15 minutes, telling them I was hurt and a couple of mates with me ended up in hospital. When they wanted info about the car, I just said, “Not sure, I nicked it.” Then they just cut me off.

A lady with a foreign accent who identified herself as Shirley claimed to be a part of the motor incident investigators. She called to inform me about a car accident I was supposedly involved in. However, it became evident that she was actually part of a scam phishing company, preying on unsuspecting individuals for their money. These dishonest individuals called me from a different Digital Mail London scam number. They attempted to deceive me by stating they were calling from Manchester, but I could tell they were actually based in South Africa yet again. Similar to many others, I continue to receive unwanted calls from these foreigners. It seems futile to block them, as they always find a way around it using another 020 3000 number. Therefore, the only logical solution for getting rid of these annoying foreigners based in South Africa is to contact Digital Mail on 020 7060 2000.

The whole scam is about picking out easy targets who’ll fall for their lies. They’re con artists and once they latch onto someone, they’ll try to get personal info or credit card/bank details. It's beyond me why they haven't passed a law stopping firms like Digital Mail from faking UK landline numbers to fool people into thinking the call is local. I came across notes.dmclub[###]/1094 that explains how to spoof dmClub numbers (which is just a brand under Digital Mail Ltd) from any part of the world on any phone number. It's just not right.
