Somebody called saying they were from Tesco mobile, but I was tied up at the time. They mentioned they'd ring back the next day, but I've gone ahead and blocked their number now.

So, I've been sorting out my broadband speed with BT lately and was waiting for their callback. Then I got this call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from BT - pretty sure I’d heard from her before. When I asked if she really worked for BT, she just ended the call straight away. Makes me wonder if these dodgy firms can spy on what you’re searching online, 'cause once when I was googling washing machine repairs, I got a sketchy call from some foreign number asking if I owned one. I don’t have caller ID on my landline, or else I probably wouldn’t have even picked up!

This arvo my landline rang, I answered but stayed quiet and they just ended the call straight away.

They kept ringing me at least three times in a single day, two calls just minutes apart. The third time, I thought I'd pick up in case it was urgent, but they just hung up. Now they’ve bugged me twice today again, getting really irritating. I’m definitely going to block the number now.

This number just won’t stop calling me, but I always ignore it. When I tried to call back, it said the number wasn’t valid. Honestly, I wish all these annoying calls would just bugger off!

Got a call earlier today, and the person on the line already knew my name. They wanted me to verify my postcode, but when I asked who they were, they just ended the call.

This number has rung me up four separate times all in one day on my mobile, but I just didn’t pick up.

I've had this number ringing me loads, but whenever I answer, no one says a word - they just end the call straight away.

I got a call from this number three times within a few hours. When I picked up, the person asked for my postcode after confirming my name. I then asked what the call was about, and they just said “oh god” and ended the call. Pretty odd behaviour if you ask me.

I received four calls from this number within just three hours. When I finally picked up, a chap addressed me by my name and asked for my postcode. When I enquired what it was about, he exclaimed 'oh dear!' and abruptly ended the call. Quite peculiar, if you ask me!

I got a call from this number just yesterday, and a guy was asking if he could speak with me. I said yes, it was me, and then he asked if my postcode was a certain one - but it was actually my old postcode. I told him it wasn’t right, and then he just hung up on me. Now I’m a bit worried, anyone else had this happen?

Got a call on my phone from a number I didn’t know, so I just ignored it. They didn’t leave any voicemail either. I then stopped my number from showing and tried ringing the same number about four times, but each time it just wouldn’t go through. Finally, I used a landline to call and it rang a few times, but I ended the call after the third ring.

Received a call from this number while I'm currently out of the UK. They dialled an international line, and although we opted not to pick up, a quick search revealed some details about them.

Based on information from OFCOM, that range of numbers hasn’t been activated yet. It’s a scam, plain and simple.

We've had quite a few calls from this number, but every time we answer, the caller seems to hang up straight away. It's rather frustrating!

Today, we received several calls from this number. When we picked up on the first ring, they inquired about our postcode and then promptly hung up. Quite odd, really!

I've had a call from these folks claiming they were ringing regarding our broadband service being fine. However, they mentioned a partner's name that doesn't belong to me. Seems a bit dodgy, to be honest.
