Today my phone rang and it was one of those recorded messages claiming to be from HMRC. The guy spoke really clearly and said they’d spotted suspicious activity on my account. He told me to PRESS 1 straight away or they’d send a warrant to arrest me. Honestly, don’t ever PRESS 1, it’s a total scam. I’ve already reported it to the cops. Pretty sure they’re just trying to get your account details so they can drain your money. Please don’t fall for it. I’d suggest you do the same and file a complaint on the police website.
