I received a dodgy call purportedly from O2. Given the recent spate of scams doing the rounds masquerading as O2, I decided to hang up and promptly blocked the number. Better safe than sorry!

Absolute crooks, honestly! My mobile even warned me it could be dodgy. Best to steer clear of any numbers you don't recognise. I’ve been catching the BBC show every morning, and it really sheds light on all the sneaky tactics these con artists employ. Stay vigilant!

I received a call supposedly from O2, my network provider, saying they were giving me a discount because I’m such a loyal customer. I let them know I'm actually with Vodafone! Total scam! Steer clear—they don’t have any of your personal information but will try to lure you into clicking dodgy links in a text. No chance of that with me!

I just received a dodgy call from someone with a strong Asian/Indian accent, purporting to be from O2. I ended the call promptly and have now blocked the number.

I don’t have any contacts or dealings in Wales, so I’ve got a hunch this might be a scam. Seems like I'm not the only one, as plenty of others seem to be searching for this number as well.
