Got a call on my landline from a local number. No answer at first, then after a few clicks, a bloke said his name was Matthew and was ringing me about loft insulation, which I supposedly asked about. As soon as I told him I hadn’t actually asked for anything like that, he just hung up on me. Didn’t get a chance to ask which company he was with. Feels like one of those annoying spam calls, or maybe they were just checking if the number is active.
