i always ignore these calls cause they show up as coming from abroad. after reading other folks’ experiences, i’m convinced they’re just annoying and risky. better not to pick up at all.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, saying my internet had been hacked. I told them we don’t use BT and then he passed me on to someone else who sounded suspiciously like the first guy. I just ended the call after that. Tried ringing the number back later and it wouldn’t pick up.
