Some bloke rang me, said his name was Ocean or something, but he couldn't say my name properly, kept saying E-ma instead of Emma. When I asked who he was working for, he just dodged the question and then started throwing out info that was totally ancient, like from four years ago! When I pressed him on where he got that rubbish from, he just cut the call. If you get this number popping up, best just hit block straight away.

I received a trio of voicemails from this number, claiming I had outstanding taxes and was somehow avoiding payment. Naturally, I decided to call back. Upon giving them my name, they promptly had my address on hand. They accused me of dodging taxes since 2013! When I mentioned that my income is too low for tax obligations, they promptly cut the call. Absolute scam! Stay vigilant!

This really seems like some kind of scam, got a recorded message from 'HMRC' saying they’re taking me to court and to ring back this number ASAP. Bet it’s one of those dodgy lines charging silly fees like £5 a minute. Honestly, best to only get in touch with HMRC using their legit website. Stay cautious out there, folks!

I got a missed call from this number and decided to call back. A bloke answered with an asian accent and said his name was Tim Ellis. He claimed to have a badge with the number HM56224 and told me I’m involved in some legal trouble over tax evasion. I told him I’d ring back later and ended the call. Feels like a dodgy prank to me, trying to pretend he’s from HMRC. I’ve been trying to ring the real HMRC to double-check but their phone lines are all tied up. Number was 01970709812.

I rang that number and got a bloke named Harry on the line, sounded like he was from India. Didn’t tell him who I was and he didn’t know anything about me either.
