Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, saying I’m under investigation for tax fraud. Had a couple of these calls before, they keep threatening court but it’s all a scam. I just told them I’ll see them in court if they’re serious.

Just like the others here, I got a call from someone saying they’re from HMRC, but the voice didn’t sound English at all. I’ve fallen for scams before, so I could tell straight away this was another one. Seriously, don’t bother answering or calling back!

I got a robocall saying HMRC was looking into me and if I didn't ring them back, I could get arrested. When I did call back, the line just played a weird message in a language I didn't understand.

I got a call from a person claiming to be with HMRC, saying I was going to be sued for tax fraud. They told me not to hang up and to ring back straight away.

Its really awful that these people can just keep calling us like this. Over the past fortnight, I've answered three calls from different numbers each time, all saying I owe taxes or something. Does anyone know how we can report these scammers? It's so frustrating!

Got a call supposedly from HMRC, told me to ring them back. The number showed up as Aberyswyth in Wales, but the voice wasn’t English, sounded kinda Filipino or something. Bit weird.

I got a robocall from someone claiming to be HMRC saying I was being sued for unpaid taxes. They gave me a different phone number to ring back but I couldn’t write it down in time. Avoid answering these calls, it’s just a scam trying to trick people.
