It seems to me they might be checking which numbers are active. I reckon I ought to block them, as I have a hunch this could lead to more unwanted calls now that I’ve engaged. Normally, I brush off calls from unknown numbers, but I was anticipating something from a friend today. What a nuisance! 😞

What a dreadful bunch of characters! They pretended to be from an insurance firm, but it was clear they were just trying to fish for personal details. When I asked how they obtained our number, they refused to give a straight answer. It’s quite pitiful, really; they must lead such unhappy lives to resort to these underhanded tactics.
