So, it turns out they’ve rebranded themselves as the Care Cost Helpline! They're apparently on hand to assist during this cost of living shake-up. I had a rather civil chap on the line, complete with a British accent, and I had to gently, yet firmly, advise him to refrain from calling me in the future!

So, it seems they've transformed into the Care Cost Helpline today! Their aim is to assist during this cost of living turmoil. I had a rather courteous chap on the line, chatting away in that quintessential English accent. I had to firmly yet politely request him not to bother me with more calls!

I received a rather confusing and rapid-fire call from an operator today, who claimed I was eligible for complimentary medical equipment. When I inquired about who had deemed me eligible (was that referring to me?), they simply replied with a cheery "enjoy your day" and promptly hung up. Is this some sort of phishing attempt?

Had the pleasure of conversing with a rather articulate lady who introduced herself as Jane. It appeared to be an insidious emergency medical alert scam. When I mentioned, "My dear, I'm a physician," she promptly uttered an apology and hung up. It's quite unfortunate that such a pleasant voice is being exploited in this manner.

I got a call from this number around half past eleven today, but it didn't ring any bells so I decided to let it go to voicemail. They didn't bother leaving a message, which makes me think it’s likely a scam; after all, a legitimate caller would usually leave a note asking for a callback. I've noticed numerous other folks mentioning that this number seems dodgy as well.

She asked if I was over 50, to which I replied I wasn’t (though, truth be told, I actually am!). Her response was simply, “well, have a nice day,” before abruptly hanging up. I’m really puzzled about how they acquired my number in the first place.

Received a call from this number yesterday. They queried my husband about whether he was over sixty, and upon his confirmation, they attempted to entice him with a pitch for a personal alarm. They even threw in the phrase "Government Agency" to sweeten the deal. However, when he firmly turned them down, they abruptly hung up!

I rang up Pharmacy2U and, lo and behold, just after that, I got a ring from this number touting some emergency medical alert pendant. Makes me wonder if Pharmacy2U is peddling our details, doesn’t it?
