Got a call from 01952 235870 with an automated message saying my Amazon Prime was about to renew and if I had questions to press 1. Since my subscription already renewed last month, I'm pretty sure this is some kind of scam.

Got a call supposedly from Glasgow claiming there was an issue with my O2 account. They asked me to call the number they gave me back. Turned out they were trying to get me to switch over to a Vodafone plan. I was under the impression I was dealing with O2 all along. Total cold caller pretending to be legit.

Got a voicemail about an urgent issue with my EE account. When I rang back and pressed them a few times, they finally owned up they weren't actually from EE. I told them straight away I wasn't going to chat about my EE details with anyone not officially from the company. Sounds dodgy to me, no clue what their angle is, but definitely wouldn’t trust them.

Add the number under a contact named "IGNORE" on your phone and set it so it doesn’t ring, going straight to voicemail. They hardly ever leave a message (I’ve never got one!), but if they do, it’s just a waste of their time!

OneCom??? I got a really confusing voicemail saying to call back 'urgently regarding my account'! I assumed it was someone from a supplier but nope, it was some rude, pushy young bloke trying to strong-arm me into handing over personal details to get a ‘better’ mobile deal! Why do big companies like O2 let this happen? Or maybe they’re just too massive to bother about their customers anymore!!!

Got a call from this number and some arrogant kid saying he was an O2 partner trying to sell me a better business plan. When I asked what the offer was, he smugly said he can't just tell me without getting my info first. That really got me going. Somebody called sayin I could get a cheaper business plan but I dont even use this as a business line. They kept askin for my personal info and I said no till I found out what the deal actually was. Got a call this morning and they even left a voicemail - that’s rare for these cold callers, must be getting desperate. They claimed to be from EE with some news about my phone, but I knew straight away it was rubbish since I’m on a SIM-only plan. Why would I want to upgrade? If I need a new phone, I just buy one outright. This just shows EE passed my info on to some third party, so who loses here? Yep, it’s EE. I’ve just decided to switch to Three mobile - now I can use my phone abroad in loads of countries with no roaming fees. Brilliant!
