This morning, I had a rather peculiar phone call from an unknown number. There was some Asian music playing softly in the background, but no one uttered a single word. After a brief moment of confusion, I decided it was best to end the call.

I received a call from 01952 235868, purporting to be about my EE account. I do indeed have an account with EE, which is quite concerning. However, I reckon this must be some sort of scam, so I shall not be returning the call.

I received a voicemail from someone named Lewis, urging me to contact him directly regarding my EE account on the number he provided. However, I’ve decided against calling him, as I believe any legitimate inquiries about my EE account should be directed through 150, which is the official line for customer support. It feels like yet another potential scam or simply a hassle to deal with, to be honest.

I received a call from a chap named Pat, who insisted that I get in touch with him about my EE account. He was rather pushy about it being urgent and provided the number 01952235835 for me to return his call. The oddest part? I've never had an EE account, and yet he knew my name! Quite concerning, I must say!
