6 yearsSome survey lot from Wigan, a company called WEB ONE, called me claiming I’d had an accident on Jan 20th. They wanted to connect me to an adviser but I told them to just send the paperwork instead. Then they put me through to some Ian Morgan, who was proper rude! When they finally let me speak to an adviser from Road Care in Liverpool, they were just as bad. Honestly, I’ve never come across people so pushy, arrogant or disrespectful - total time wasters!WiganWEB ONEIan MorganRoad CareLiverpool6 yearsAbsolute nightmare with some market research mob from Wigan called WEB ONE. They kept spouting rubbish about me having an accident on 20th Jan. I said just send the paperwork, don’t bother passing me on. Then they shoved me onto some guy called Ian Morgan who was proper rude. Fine, put me through to him - but the next advisor from Road Care in Liverpool was just as bad! Never come across such obnoxious, pushy and arrogant people before. Total waste of time!WiganWEB ONEIan MorganRoad CareLiverpool6 yearsSome bloke pretending to be from a car insurance company was on the phone with Lloyd for more than ten minutes, driving him mad. When Lloyd told him he’s never had a crash, the guy lost it, started swearing and called him a really offensive name before hanging up. The same number rang back a couple more times, with the guy shouting about how Lloyd wasted his time, so Lloyd had to block the number in the end.Lloyd6 yearsGot a call from a woman saying she was from "Motor Assist" but I blocked the number 01744399559 straight away. Later, she tried again using another phone, 01942917680, probably to get more info after I cut the first one off.Motor Assist6 yearsI got a call about a supposed car crash I was meant to be part of, which is odd since I work in insurance and immediately smelt a scam. The bloke on the phone tried to convince me it was real, giving me the details of the car said to be damaged. But when I checked, that vehicle didn’t even exist on the registration database. As soon as I pointed that out, he quickly ended the call.6 yearsSo this lady calls me saying I was in an accident not long ago (which actually did happen, so I almost believed her at first). I said my accident was sorted and I didn’t need to chat. She then claimed I’d asked to be called! I told her that was nonsense - if I had, I'd be waiting for her call. She was really persistent. I ended up hanging up and blocking the number. Then, less than two minutes later, I get the same thing but from 07774544939. These scammers just keep switching numbers!6 yearsGot a really rude caller who was quite pushy, told him to stop but he said they'd keep ringing anyway. Sure enough, they called right back straight away. Ended up blocking the number - total scam, really nasty lot.6 yearsI just got two calls in a row, first from 01744399557 but I hung up before they said anything, then right after I got two calls from 01942917680. Feels like these numbers are linked somehow. You can check other people's feedback too.6 yearsGot a call from someone pretending to be sorting out a car crash situation. Told him to remove my number from his list, but he just kept ringing non-stop. Ended up having to block him.6 yearsGot two calls from them today. On the second time, they wrongly claimed they rang me yesterday. When I asked the company’s name, they said M.I.B. Motor Insurance Bureau. They wanted to talk to one of two individuals by name, saying it was about a car accident. Thing is, one of those people has never even driven a car and doesn’t have a licence at all. Feels like a total scam to me.M. I. B.Motor Insurance Bureau6 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were with the motor insurance bureau, kept asking to talk to my partner. When I asked the bloke to tell me when this supposed accident happened and to give me my insurance policy or the car reg, he turned really nasty. Then, after a bit, he rang back and started shouting more at me. Proper rude.6 yearsSomeone named Craig-Wyatt rang me up, saying he was from the Motor Insurance Bureau. He started going on about a crash I supposedly had, which I know nothing about. When I asked for the car registration numbers involved, he hesitated and then said he didn’t have those details. He claimed £3,000 was owed to me for the stress caused. When I pressed him on where this accident happened, he said Bolton Road, then added, “you know, near the crossroads in Richmond.” That was the moment I just hung up.Craig - WyattMotor Insurance BureauBolton RoadRichmond6 yearsSomeone rang me saying they were from the MIB about a car accident that supposedly happened last year.
